Nestled amidst the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park Cowdray House has beautiful scenery everywhere you turn and offered a stunning backdrop for Ashley & Jonathan’s fairytale wedding. I loved the styling of this Cowdray House wedding, it was so full of colour and had such gorgeous flowers. The wedding breakfast table in a cross shape was just amazing! The team over at Quintessential Weddings did a wonderful job in creating an exquisite atmosphere. It was a wonderful day to be a part of and it was a pleasure to shoot alongside the lovely Camilla Arnhold Photography again.

The beautifully restored interiors are a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, which offered a unique setting for both Ashley & Jonathans ceremony and reception. One of the highlights of Cowdray House is its expansive grounds, from the manicured gardens to the tranquil ponds and rolling hills, there’s no shortage of stunning locations for timeless wedding photography shots.

Personalised Details Greet the Guests.
Inside the reception hall, guests were greeted with a unique seating plan with personalised name cards nestled amongst beautiful floral arrangements. Fairy lights twinkled above, setting a warm glow over the table.

Flower-Lined Aisle in Cowdray House’s Spectacular Hall.
Ashley & Jonathan’s wedding ceremony was held inside in Buck Hall. With its striking vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows it is such a stunning space for a wedding ceremony and to have your wedding breakfast in too. It’s very grand but also has a warm and welcoming feel. The team from This Floral Life had outdone themselves, creating a breathtaking flower arrangement that adorned the aisle and the fireplace. Ashley & Jonathan exchanged vows under a beautiful decorated flower arch next to the candle lit fireplace.

An Unforgettable Atmosphere.
One of the most magical aspects of Cowdray House is its ability to create an enchanting atmosphere that truly enhances the wedding experience. As the sun set, the ceremony hall venue transformed into a romantic haven for Ashley and Jonathans wedding breakfast. Guests were seated in the most spectacular cross table setting lit by candles and adorned by amazing flower arrangements. The couple shared their first dance under a canopy of twinkling candle light, surrounded by their friends and family.
