The Magic of Micro Weddings at Morden Park House.

Abbie and Andy’s micro Morden Park House wedding was all kinds of gorgeous and made me smile so much! I really enjoyed spending a few hours with them and their family as they said I do at the charming Morden Park House in London. Abbie looked so gorgeous and radiant in her Catherine Deane gown with florals from Hidden Botanics complimented perfectly by Andrew, who looked stylish and dapper in his Charles Tyrwhitt suit.

As more couples embrace the intimate and meaningful charm of micro weddings, venues like Morden Park House have become increasingly popular. Nestled in the lush green landscapes of South London, the Grade II listed Georgian manor offers the perfect balance of elegance and intimacy for those looking to tie the knot with a smaller guest list.

I met Abbie for the first time as she stepped out a black London cab whilst Andrew and their families waited for her arrival at Morden Park House’s victorian inspired gazebo, ideal for summer weddings. Morden Park House has the loveliest gardens for an outdoor wedding, surrounded by blooming flowers and towering trees.

Intimate Celebrations at Morden Park House.

After the ceremony Abbie & Andy were directed inside the Grade II listed Georgian Manor for a few moments to themselves whilst their family made their way to the iconic Morden Park House steps to get ready for the confetti throw and some group photographs. 

One of the biggest benefits of having a micro wedding was for Abbie & Andy to focus on what truly matters – the two of them. As a result, Morden Park House is particularly well-suited for these kinds of intimate ceremonies, allowing you to personalise every detail. With a smaller guest list, you have the luxury to spend quality time with each guest, making the day feel more meaningful for everyone involved.

Abbie & Andy chose to create an intimate service at Morden Park House before meeting more friends and family at a nearby London pub to continue celebrating into the evening. Abbie & Andy booked me for 2 hours coverage on their day to capture the ceremony, group shots and couple shots. So, I waved them off as they left in style in a white London cab.
